IMPACT
Context
Malaria is a significant health problem in Ekiti State, particularly among children aged between 6 and 59 months. The prevalence of malaria in this group is as high as 32.3%. To improve the progress made in the fight against malaria, the National Malaria Elimination Program (NMEP) with the support of the World Bank and Islamic Development Bank is implementing anti-malaria interventions in Ekiti state.
To implement this, the Ekiti State Impact Project Implementation Team (PIU) selected the Solina Group as the Non-State Actors to offer support across all the LGAs in the state.
As a result, Solina Group will support the state to provide information about significant activities conducted since the signing of the contract and to explain the technical approach for executing several aspects of the assignment.
Project objective
To strengthen the delivery and promote the uptake of malaria prevention and treatment services especially in rural communities where the burden of malaria is the greatest, in Ekiti state of Nigeria
